Cement Plant in Höver, November 2019
From Marl Extraction to Quality Assurance: On November 25, 15 students gained insight into the processes of a cement plant during an excursion to Holcim GmbH in Höver. This allowed the students to link their theoretical knowledge from the course Building Materials I in the Civil and Environmental Engineering program with practical experience. The topic of sustainability in cement production was also addressed during the excursion.
